Philadelphia’s Penn Center for Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) is offering training for 19 early career faculty members at MSIs. This annual program, ELEVATE (Enriching Learning, Enhancing Visibility & Training Educators), takes place June 15-June 17, 2016. ELEVATE is a three-day professional development opportunity created specifically to support the ongoing learning, training and networking of early career MSI faculty.

Hands-on workshops and informal discussions will cover topics such as grant writing, crafting a research agenda, expanding global education, teaching, and mentoring. Knowledge obtained from ELEVATE will help participants enhance the visibility of MSIs in national conversations by producing more high-quality research and practice.

This year’s cohort represents 16 different MSIs from 11 states. Join us in congratulating Dr. Williams on her selection for ELEVATE!
