On October 26, 2016 from 3-4pm in the James B. Duke Memorial Library Rm. 213 as part of the Workshop Wednesdays series, the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Google: Using Library Databases workshop will teach students how to search the library’s databases strategically and identify the best sources to use for their research assignments. Students will generate keywords related to their topic, assess search results, and distinguish source types or formats including peer-reviewed journal articles, Prior to instruction, students should be introduced to their research assignment and have a possible topic in mind. Lead instructor is Mrs. Keisha Parris-Streeter.
