Early voting (also known as “one-stop” or in-person absentee voting) is available this week until Friday, November 1, 2019. When you vote early, you get the benefit of voting at any of the 17 Mecklenburg County polling sites Monday-Friday 10am-7pm.
After the early voting period ends on Friday, you can then vote on Election Day, November 5th between 6:30am-7:30pm at your designated polling location. Here are the steps:
Step 1 If you’re already registered to vote, get your sample ballot (and print if possible)- https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/
Step 2 Do research on the candidates running for office, amendments, bonds in your district. The names and descriptions of some amendments and bonds may be misleading and not take into account unintended consequences. qcitymetro.com
