Mar 19, 2021 from 10:00-11:00am, JCSU’s Dr. Tracy Brown-Fox, Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Natural Science and Mathematics will speak during a workshop hosted by the office of Sponsored Programs, entitled Getting Started and Staying Motivated: The Importance of Grant writing and Grantsmanship. Faculty and staff are invited to the virtual workshop, which will provide perspectives for successful grant writers, principal investigators and grant-funded project directors to consider about how to manage the grantsmanship process, from grant writing to grant close-out.
Dr. Brown-Fox’s workshop will provide encouragement if you have ever:
- been frustrated about how to start writing a grant proposal.
- stopped working on a grant proposal due to myriad internal and external factors.
- failed to get a grant award after multiple submissions.
- felt stressed while meeting a grant proposal submission deadline.
- been discouraged by the amount of paperwork required to administer a grant award.
